I'm Elisabeth Vismans, CPCC, artist, coach and the creator of The Open Page.

I started painting later in life, after a career that took me across continents and cultures. But once I picked up a brush, I knew I’d found something deeper than just making art. Painting became a way to connect to myself, a way to process, reflect, and feel. It taught me that creativity isn't about talent or training. It’s about paying attention. And being brave enough to begin.

Over time, I combined my professional training as a Certified Co-Active Coach and NLP practitioner with my love of intuitive artmaking. I’ve taught hundreds of students—many of them women in transition, how to paint from the inside out. I guide them not just in techniques, but in learning to trust themselves, loosen up, and create with joy.

Open Pages is a natural extension of this work. It’s a place for gentle exploration through visual journaling and intuitive painting. A place to reconnect with your inner voice—not through words, but through color, movement, and feeling.

This isn’t about making something beautiful. It’s about making something true.
